Who we are

The Stan Hennessy Teamsters United Slate 2026 is your experienced local union leadership team — proven defenders of members and strong contracts, and effective grievance representatives and negotiators. Our commitment is simple: MEMBERS FIRST. ALWAYS.

Experience matters in the LOCAL 31 DELEGATES ELECTION because only the Stan Hennessy Teamsters United Slate 2026 has a full slate of candidates that represent members from across all of our industries and public services.

A full slate of experienced representatives matters because elected delegates will carry the priorities of LOCAL 31 to the International Brotherhood of Teamsters General Convention in June 2026 and help strengthen the voice of Canadian Teamsters at the International level.

There are three (3) Canadian Region International Vice President positions. President Stan Hennessy, a current elected Int. VP is running for re-election in 2026 alongside Teamsters Canada President Francois Laporte and Ontario Teamsters Local 938 President Craig McInnis.

In addition, Stan Hennessy, Francois Laporte, and Craig McInnis are the three Canadian Teamster leaders representing Canadian members as part of the O’Brien–Zuckerman 2026 Slate (OZ 2026). The Stan Hennessy Teamsters United Slate 2026 is committed at the Convention to supporting the full OZ Slate and re-electing General President Sean O’Brien and General Secretary-Treasurer Fred Zuckerman — leaders who have delivered stronger contracts, greater accountability, and a renewed fighting spirit across the union. Their leadership on the OZ Slate ensures Canadian Teamsters have a strong, respected voice at the highest levels of the IBT.

Our union sisters and brothers are making decisions based on what’s best for hard-working Canadian Teamsters. That’s the reality of what’s at stake — and why this election deserves your vote.

UNITED BY MEMBERS. PROVEN BY EXPERIENCE.
